The event which will showcase some of the strongest men and women over 3 days at Bloodstock and will be held in the main arena for its 3rd consecutively year.
Ant Brown from 100% CA runs the comps has advised that this year we are holding 4 qualifiers for Muscle 2 The Masses! The road to Bloodstock’s Strongest Man. Newcastle, North Wales, Tamworth and High Wycombe will all be hosting the competitions.
The top 5 from each comp will be competing on either the Friday or Sunday at the festival!
On Saturday we are excited to be bringing the best female athletes from across the land for Britains Strongest Woman 2019! The line-up will include 2 of the best in World and current Worlds, Europe’s, Britain’s and England’s Strongest Women Champions Andrea Thompson (opens) and Rhianon Lovelace (u63kg) also top 10 Worlds finalist and current Brit’s u82kg Champion Rebecca Cumpsty. It’s lining up to be one of the best women’s comps ever!

2 out 3 lifts puts you into the category. This but is a guide, not a rule!! If you think you can step up, DO IT!

That way the groups are based on an athletes ability and not their experience.
We are trying to move away from the old confusing and limited “novice”, “inters” and “opens” categories. Resulting in more challenging competitions pitting athletes of the same ability against each other
